The Rice Barn Thai Cooking Farm Chiang Mai offers an authentic Thai cooking experience in the peaceful countryside near Chiang Mai. Surrounded by rice fields and an organic herb garden, guests learn to prepare traditional Thai dishes using fresh ingredients under the guidance of experienced instructors.
The program begins with a welcome drink and an introduction to Thai ingredients, followed by a walk through the herb garden to learn about traditional herbs. Participants then join a hands-on cooking class, preparing 5 authentic Thai dishes step-by-step. Finally, enjoy the meals youโve created in a relaxed farm setting while discovering the rich flavors and culture of Thailand.
Hotel Pickup and Drive to a Local Market
Enjoy a convenient pick-up at your hotel in Old Chiang Mai Town, Night Bazaar, Nimman Haemin, and Santitham areas. (8.00-8.30 AM) then drive to a Local market on the way.
Visit a local market
Visit a local market with your instructor. Learn about Thai herbs, vegetables, curry pastes, and ingredients commonly used in Thai cuisine.
Cooking class
-Arrival and welcome drink. Introduction to Thai ingredients and overview of the cooking class. -Walk through the organic herb garden and learn about traditional Thai herbs such as lemongrass, kaffir lime, and galangal. -Hands-on Thai cooking class. Each participant prepares 5 authentic Thai dishes step-by-step with guidance from a professional instructor. -Enjoy the delicious dishes you have prepared in a relaxing countryside atmosphere.
Return to hotels
Return to Hotel about 1.00- 1.30 PM. Please note that drop-off time may vary due to traffic conditions or other unforeseen factors.

As this is a join-in tour where the van visits several accommodations, please understand that the pickup may be slightly delayed beyond 8:30 due to traffic or delays at earlier stops.
